17Lands Public Data

We're sharing some of our aggregated data in an anonymized fashion with a few goals in mind:

• To enable even more analyses that help the Limited community learn.
• To open up publications to peer review.
• To get more people interested in data analysis.

Unless otherwise noted, these data sets are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License. We'd love it if you'd also share your results with the community. Feel free to join and post your results in our Discord channel!

Datasets

The data here is usually CSV or JSON data archived and compressed with gzip. On Unix-based machines, the gunzip or tar commands can decompress this; on Windows, the freely available 7-Zip utility is often a good choice.

Game-level data includes one row per game. It lists cards that were in the deck, in the opening hand (i.e. the one that was kept), or drawn later in the game. Cards that were drawn do not include cards that were in the opening hand.

Draft-level data includes one row per pick, with information about what they had picked previously, how the matches went, and the user's overall win rate. P1P1 data may be missing in some sets due to it not being in the Arena logs.

Replay data includes one row per turn. It includes cards drawn, cards cast, creatures attacked with, damage dealt, etc. along with some game summary information.
